Normally I don’t really care and click on the ads or sponsor ads from Facebook, I feel they are a spam and not really respecting to my privacy. Facebook to me is a place for socializing with friends and family and whoever I feel comfortable with.
I don’t know where this uncomfortable thingy comes from or how it infiltrates to my feed page, I think is something related to cookies (don’t ask me, I know and I don’t know at the same time what it is).
Story begins
Let me tell you my story, maybe I can call it story of the day. As usual from my daily routine, the first thing I do after I sit in front of my screen in the morning is enjoying my breakfast with a lovely hot coffee and reading the feeds on my Facebook, just to give myself some updates of what’s happening around (family and friend matters or day to day news).
Then as usual, I was just rolling the page and found a post about an action camera that is currently doing a backing at indiegogo. This is a crowdfunding platform similar to kickstarter where the creators don’t have enough money to create the dream product and put on the table to ask other people to contribute some donations in exchange of a discounted product or an early bird on the purchase with extras gifts (accessories, souvenirs, just something as a compliment).
The post / feed or I called it the ad was something like this (I couldn’t find the original post), and don’t you think the ad is appealing visually and contextually? This is just the image of a screen capture I took from the official website page, the promotional video is here.
Some of my interest features are, 180º tiltable touch screen is first of its kind according to the promotional video , enhanced HDR, got a Reddot award (to me this award is something like the Oscars in the design world), Alpha3 delivers gimbal-like stabilization like no other, it has 45% bigger display area than GoPro’s, 37mm adapter for extend lenses and many more features that really hooks my buying desire!
Below are some examples using the Mokacam Alpha 3.
After this introduction about this new product, you decide if you want to have one by yourself. You have the choice of choosing 2 models, one can flip the screen and another cannot and two colors available (black or silver). If you do then act quick as the campaign still have 18 days to go and if my calculation is correct, the campaign ends on 29th June 2019.
This link can take you directly to the campaign page.
Forgot to mention that you needed to sign up an indiegogo account in order to back the product, if you don’t, you still can sign in by using your Facebook account as what I did to sign up, doing that saves me a lot of hassle and prevent forgetting another account name and password.
Finally I will post a review once I received the product and it is expected to arrive around August or September to my doors.
The images were downloaded from the official indiegogo page, I do not own the images.
