I have been doing a DIY birthday card recently and have used a gold ink by Winsor and Newton for the first time. I mean, I had it for few years already, but I did not have a chance to really test it for a real work.
I am going to show you how intense the gold ink is and how it looks like on a black paper. It is recommended to use a dark or near to black paper when using metallic colour, this is not really the norm, but its just the way to intensify the shininess of the gold.
