Selling @society6

Society6 is an online selling platform that is known for artist to sell their artworks on different mediums from paper, prints, canvas to furniture and home decor.

Defining it quick, its a print-on-demand platform for creating and selling custom products.

Time flies, I am member / artist there for almost 9 years, I didn’t really realize its been so long time already and I confess, I was quite lazy to use Society6 properly and for this long period I only got ONE product sold.

Yes! Just one product sold! But never mind, I am ok with it and this can be as a reminder to keep myself busy in working and posting. There’s lots of reasons for this, I am not going to discuss over here, but believe me, many artists out there or someone sitting next to you have used Society6 very well and succeeded their expectations too.

I am going to show you step by step how to upload your image / visual / design / drawing / painting or whatever in digital format to Society6.

If you are used to do things online, posting, selling or just clicking your mouse, Society6 is just easy-peasy for you as its platform is not difficult at all and simple to you.

Step by Step

Front page of Society6 is something like this and click on the right hand side where the “sell” is circled.

I am using Mac and if you are familiar with it, then you know how to upload your artwork, just click, highlight and drag your file to the box.

Next your screen should look something like this and just click on the boxes accordingly.

and then just fill what needs to be filled.

This is where the fun starts, if your artwork is good enough, *Society6* let you create anything according to your submitted file. Now just click, click and click what’s available or how you want your artwork produced.

I don’t remember exactly how many products *Society6* have to offer, I think 33 different kind of products available.

There’s many different kind of materials to choose from, whether soft or hard, natural or synthetic.

Not only plain stuff, but also in 3D for example mugs and furniture.

Each product can be edited individually to fit your canvas / product. What you have to do is just dragging backward or forward the black dot to scale up and down the artwork.

Click on publish button when you are happy and it takes about 30mins for the process.
